Job summary

INDUS Technology, Inc. is seeking a Radar Technician in Fallbrook, CA to support test operations under the TOSS contract with NAVSEA. You will set up and maintain radar systems, analyze data, and help ensure mission readiness at regional DoD ranges across Southern California.

The role requires an active secret clearance, an associate degree, and 4+ years with ground radar or related DSP equipment. Proficiency with MS Office and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Active security clearance required.
  • Associate degree required.
  • At least four years of experience with ground radar tracking systems similar to Weibel.
  • At least four years of experience with radar or digital signal processing equipment.
  • Experience troubleshooting analog/digital circuitry including power supplies and microwave components.
  • Data analysis to determine actions to improve radar performance.
  • Knowledge of Doppler antenna patterns, phase coherency, system sensitivity, matched filters, servos, HV transmitters, and traveling wave tubes.
  • Strong communication and ability to prepare technical reports.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and perform preventive maintenance on radar equipment.
  • Operate radar to detect, track, recognize, analyze, and identify objects.
  • Perform data analysis to locate fault isolation and improve performance.
  • Operate test equipment for radar systems.
  • Maintain equipment and maintenance trackers with monthly updates.
  • Bid and proposal support if requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.
