Job summary

RTX in Fullerton, CA seeks a Mechanical Engineer to support the Sentinel radar product line onsite. You will model subsystems, generate drawings, and collaborate across cross‑functional teams to accelerate production and program execution.

Responsibilities include developing 3‑D designs, supporting TDPs, and driving engineering changes while traveling up to 10% to suppliers. A DoD Secret clearance is required for consideration.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in STEM by start date.
Mechanical engineering design knowledge.
Experience with radar production lifecycle stages.
Experience resolving technical challenges.
Experience with CAD tools (Creo Parametric, SolidWorks).

Responsibilities

Develop mechanical subsystems with solid modeling and drawings.
Create 3-D models and conceptual designs from sketches.
Provide mechanical engineering solutions to production issues.
Collaborate with IPT leads for Sentinel portfolio integration.
Provide radar technical data package support across design, development, manufacturing, and failure investigations.
Support engineering changes process and documentation standards.
