Job summary

RTX in Marlborough, MA is offering an on-site Radar Mechanical Design internship starting Summer 2026. You will assist mechanical engineers in radar system equipment design and development, applying CAD tools and contributing to hardware documentation.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering student with at least 60 credit hours and familiarity with CAD software. On-site collaboration with the Radar Design Department is essential, with exposure to tolerance analysis and engineering

Qualifications

Must be pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship session.
Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session.
Experience using CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, Fusion 360 or equivalent.
Experience with mechanical hardware documentation or drawing standards.

Responsibilities

Training and application of RTX tools including CREO and PDM to perform design tasks.
Design and Documentation support utilizing engineering tools, Adobe, and MS Office suite.
Utilize problem-solving skills and experience in Engineering Analysis.
Collaborate with Radar Design Department to support business objectives.
