Job summary

Lockheed Martin RMS in Moorestown, NJ is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer – Radar Electronic Protection to lead modeling, analysis, and verification activities across radar systems. You will collaborate with engineers to evaluate designs, support certification, and participate in customer reviews.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in system analysis, modeling, and hands-on testing, with proficiency in C++, Matlab, or Python. A DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics or equivalent with 5 years related experience.
• Functional knowledge of Radar Systems.
• Experience in system analysis, architecture, requirements development, trade studies, modeling and simulation, or integration and test.
• High proficiency in C++, Matlab or Python.
• U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop models and/or detailed simulations to support system design evaluation.
• Conduct data analysis to assess system performance.
• Write verification plans and test procedures showing traceability to system and software specifications.
• Support integration and test, evaluate test results, investigate discrepancies, provide technical assessment of anomalies, and drive issues to resolution.
• Conduct system verification and support certification activities.
• Participate in landmark reviews of Radar System products with internal and external customers, program and senior leadership, and multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge of Electronic Protection concepts.
