Job summary

RTX is seeking Systems Engineers to join the Sentinel® Radar Systems team in Fullerton, CA. You will participate in challenging multi-disciplinary work including radar development, modeling, and integration and test of radar hardware and software.

Responsibilities include implementing radar requirements, building high-fidelity simulations, and supporting flight tests and data analysis. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in STEM with 2+ years of related experience, and familiarity with C++, C,

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience with object-oriented software design in C++, C, and using MATLAB or Python for evaluation of data sets.
• Experience in System Integration & Test of hardware and software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement radar requirements and support high-fidelity simulations and models for missile design and flight test.
• Create and evaluate modeling solutions; perform trade studies and assess system performance.
• Collaborate in a team environment; provide guidance to teammates and integrate inputs from supervisors.
• Support hands-on operational Integration and Test at the Fullerton Test Site.
• Assist with flight tests and data analysis to evaluate radar performance.
• Support CONUS and OCONUS radar system sell-off to customers.
