Job summary

Torch Technologies, located at Redstone Arsenal, is seeking a Radar Engineer to advance RF phenomenology modeling and radar simulations in a collaborative team. You will integrate vendor RF software into a unified C++ framework and develop analysis tools for evaluating digital signal processing and radar performance.

The ideal candidate has strong MATLAB/C++/Python skills, expertise in RF modeling, and demonstrated ability to communicate complex topics across teams while holding an active Secret

Qualifications

US Citizenship required.
Active Secret security clearance required.
Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years (or Master’s with 5+ years) in a technical field.
Experience using MATLAB/C++/Python for RF models and DSP algorithms.
Strong communication across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Integrate vendor RF models into a common C++ simulation framework.
Develop, validate, and optimize RF phenomenology models (RCS, clutter, multipath).
Design tools in MATLAB/Python/C++ to evaluate RF models and radar performance.
