Torch Technologies seeks an entry-level Radar Engineer to support the Tactical Missile Systems team on Redstone Arsenal. The role offers mentorship with a senior radar engineer and requires a foundation in electromagnetic physics and software modeling.

Responsibilities include integrating RF models into a C++ framework, developing RF phenomenology models, and creating MATLAB/Python analysis scripts to evaluate radar performance. US citizenship and ability to obtain clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field required.
• 0-2 years of software development, modeling or radar experience preferred.
• Experience with MATLAB, C++, Python or Fortran to solve problems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Integrate vendor RF models into a C++ radar simulation framework.
• Develop physics-based models for RF phenomenology and clutter.
• Create MATLAB/Python analysis scripts for radar performance.
