Synectic Solutions, Inc. (SSI) is seeking a Radar Engineer (Journeyman) to support the MH-60R/S helicopter sensor systems at Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Lexington Park, MD.

The role focuses on RADAR engineering within the Mission Systems IPT, with secondary duties in acoustics, AMCM, and EO/IR systems. Responsibilities include evaluating technical performance, assessing mission suitability, and managing risks throughout the acquisition lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Must have a Technical BS or BA from an accredited college or university.
• Seven (7) years of recent and relevant experience in a related role.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain/maintain DoD Secret Clearance.

Responsabilités

• Provide RADAR engineering expertise for MH-60R/S sensor systems.
• Support acoustics and EO/IR systems integration and evaluation.
• Prepare and review technical analyses, reports, and documentation.
• Assist with risk management, configuration management, and flight/airworthiness processes.
