Job summary

Peraton in Norman, OK, seeks a Systems Engineer to support the NWS Radar Operations Center and the NEXRAD network. You will join the Systems Engineering team, provide design and integration for complex computer systems, and work on secure benchmark configurations and performance analyses.

The role requires US citizenship with a current Public Trust clearance, and experience with Linux-based systems and networking. Radar knowledge and INCOSE familiarity are highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide system design and requirements analysis for complex computer systems.
• Conduct feasibility, cost/benefit, and alternatives analysis for modifications and large-scale product improvement programs.
• Develop documentation including technical specifications, design documents, and system integration plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of hardware, software, and systems components.
• Perform system integration and testing activities to validate system functionality and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system design, integration, and performance.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends related to computer systems and architecture.
