Job summary

CFD Research Corporation is seeking a Radar Analyst/Engineer to join a seasoned team supporting prototyping, testing, and analysis for AN/TPY-2 and SBX radars. You will work with real-time HWIL systems and prototype tactical algorithms, focusing on scenario design, tool development, and complex radar performance analysis.

The role emphasizes collaboration, innovative problem solving, and a hands-on approach to verification and validation in a dynamic environment based at Redstone Arsenal,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or Math from an accredited institution.
• 2–10 years of mid to senior level experience will be considered.
• Proficient in data manipulation and analysis, data visualization, signal and data processing, electromagnetics, and/or system engineering.
• Experience leading the development of complex analysis tools using MATLAB.
• Ability to work effectively in team environments and independently.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and possess an Active Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support prototyping, testing, and analysis efforts for radar systems.
• Develop scenario designs and analysis tools for radar performance.
• Analyze radar acquisition, tracking, discrimination, and system-level interactions.
• Contribute to MDA ground test analyses, post-flight reconstructions, and risk-reduction activities.
