Job summary

Torch Technologies, Inc. is looking for a Radar Systems Engineer to join the Tactical Missile Systems team at Redstone Arsenal. This role offers mentorship from a senior radar engineer while focusing on RF systems modeling and simulation.

We are seeking a Radar Systems Engineer to support the Tactical Missile Systems team on Redstone Arsenal. This position offers a unique mentorship opportunity to work alongside a senior radar engineer. The role includes modeling and simulation of RF systems and scene generators, analysis tool development, and algorithm testing and analysis.

Job Duties

• Integrate vendor-supplied RF models into a common simulation framework and scene generation environment.
• Develop new RF component models based on physics and math principles.
• Perform detailed analysis of RF models, algorithms, and integrated system performance.

Job Requirements

• US Citizenship.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 7 years of experience with modeling and analyzing radar systems and/or RF phenomenology.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• Experience with MATLAB, C++, Python, Fortran, or other programming languages.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience effectively communicating complex topics.

Preferred Requirements

• Understanding of software integration, modeling and simulation, and analysis of radar systems and RF phenomenology.
