Qualifications

  • Proficiency in radar system repair and maintenance (AN/SPS-73 and SPQ-9B).
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Develop test processes, procedures, and specifications meeting technical and quality standards.
  • Design and fabricate test fixtures and test sets for system evaluations.
  • Collaborate with technicians for testing and repair of radar system consoles and components.
  • Review technical drawings of CCAs for clarity and completeness.
  • Perform gap analyses to identify missing information for maintenance.
  • Define and document test specs for power supplies, RF modules, and CCAs.
  • Work with high-voltage power supplies (115VAC 3-phase, 440VAC).
  • Conduct maintenance and testing procedures for radar systems using approved protocols.
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex radar system issues.
  • Communicate status and needs with Task Lead and Branch Manager.
