Job summary

V2X is seeking a Radar Systems CLS Instructor to train end users on radar operation, theory, and maintenance. The role involves classroom and hands-on instruction, field maintenance, and extensive use of diagnostic equipment.

The position requires prior radar system trouble-shooting experience, U.S. citizenship for DoD clearance, a valid driver's license and passport, and willingness to travel frequently to CONUS/OCONUS locations. Combat logistics expertise is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years servicing, troubleshooting and repairing military radar systems or equivalent equipment.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen able to obtain an Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Must be familiar with electronic technical manuals.
• Must possess a valid State Driver’s License and a valid U.S. Passport.
• CAC within three months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Conducts both classroom and practical training on operation, theory, and maintenance of radar systems.
• Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on radar systems.
• Inspects, tests, and operates radar equipment to determine serviceability and repair needs.
• Disassembles/assembles components, services radar equipment, and handles related accessories.
• Operates and maintains safety, PPE and housekeeping standards in the shop and field environments.
• Responds to contractual requirements with flexibility in duties and locations.
• Works with a range of repair and test equipment and provides guidance under the Program Manager.
