Job summary

RTX is seeking a Software Engineer for the Dual Band Radar Software Team in Tewksbury, MA. You will develop C++ software on Linux/UNIX within an Agile framework, contributing to radar applications and collaborating with the team to meet user requirements and delivery timelines.

The role requires a STEM degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, with the ability to obtain Interim Secret clearance and US citizenship.

Qualifications

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
Experience with C++ application code development and Linux/Unix.
Broad real-time, multi-threaded software development experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U. S. Government issued Interim Secret security clearance prior to the start date.
U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

Develop robust and scalable software in C++ on Linux/UNIX using Agile methods.
Design, implement, debug, and solve problems in Radar Software Applications.
Collaborate to understand end-user requirements and translate into effective technical solutions.
