Job summary

Eikon Research Inc. is seeking a Radar simulation Software Engineer for a hybrid role in Huntsville, AL.

You will develop and port radar algorithms, implement new features, and work across environments from low-level signal processing to high-level tracking on x86-64 platforms. The role requires strong MATLAB and modern C++ skills, plus 3+ years of related experience and US citizenship with an active DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science or engineering-related field or 5+ years additional experience in lieu of a degree.
• Candidate must be US Citizen.
• Candidate must have active DoD Secret Clearance, or ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance.
• 3+ years experience with C++11+/CMake/GCC for ARM and x86-64 targets.
• Experience in radar, signal processing, or electrical engineering.
• Version Control Experience (Git/GitLab).

Responsibilities

• Develop / port software implementations of radar algorithms for x86-64 platforms.
• Develop new functionalities and software modules using distributed message frameworks.
• Develop unit and integration tests for new and existing codebases.
• Develop documentation in-code and in PowerPoint/Word for product docs.
• Participate in Agile practices including daily standups and sprint planning/reviews.
• Utilize Git, GitLab, Agentic tools and Jira for development.
• Assist with other projects and possibly develop in MATLAB/C++.
