Job summary

RTX is hiring a Software Engineer in Marlborough, MA to design, architect, and implement signal processing algorithms for radar systems on CPUs, FPGAs, and GPUs. You will contribute to Linux-based distributed environments and collaborate with systems, hardware, and software teams to meet end‑user requirements.

The role requires a B.S./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field and hands‑on C++ development experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
• C++ software development experience.
• Experience using Linux.

Responsibilities

• Perform system integration activities on distributed heterogeneous signal processing systems running Linux.
• Code, test, and integrate C++ embedded and/or real‑time signal processing algorithms or control functions.
• Defect resolution and code maintenance/updating of existing codebases.
• Analyze numerical accuracy, runtime latency, and other system metrics.
• Collaborate with systems, hardware, and other software engineers to understand and implement end‑user requirements.
• Maintain high code quality by supporting code reviews, static analysis, continuous integration.
