Job summary

RTX in Marlborough, MA is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Receiver Exciter and Processing Architecture Department. Design, architect, and implement signal processing algorithms on CPUs, FPGAs, and GPUs for next‑gen radar systems.

Role involves Linux system integration, C++ embedded/real‑time code, and collaboration with systems, hardware, and software teams. Requires E.E./STEM degree and DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or graduate STEM program with at least 30 credits by start of internship.
• Experience with Linux and C++ software development.
• Ability to learn and apply new tools and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform system integration on distributed signal processing systems running Linux.
• Code, test, and integrate C++ embedded or real-time signal processing algorithms.
• Maintain high code quality through reviews and CI pipelines.
• Collaborate with systems, hardware, and software engineers to meet requirements.
