RTX seeks a Software Engineer I to design, implement, and optimize signal processing algorithms for radar systems on CPUs, FPGAs, and GPUs. You will integrate and maintain real-time C++ software within Linux-based environments, collaborating with hardware and systems teams.

Qualified candidates have a STEM degree and C/C++ development experience, plus OOAD. DoD secret clearance is required for eligibility. On-site in the U.S. with potential relocation support.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM), such as Computer Engineering, obtained prior to start.
• C or C++ software development experience.
• Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD).

Responsabilidades

• Perform system integration activities on distributed heterogenous signal processing systems running Linux.
• Code, test, and integrate C++ real-time signal processing algorithms or control functions.
• Defect resolution and code maintenance/updating of existing codebases.
• Analyze numerical accuracy, runtime latency, and other system metrics.
• Collaborate with systems, hardware, and other software engineers to understand and implement end-user requirements.
• Maintain high code quality by supporting code reviews, static analysis, continuous integration.
