Caribou Thunder LLC in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a Mid - Senior Radar Signal Processing Software Engineer to design, develop, and optimize advanced radar software. The role requires active Secret clearance and hands-on experience with C++, Python, and CUDA in Linux environments.

You will work across software, algorithms, hardware, and systems engineering to deliver high-performance radar processing capabilities, leveraging GPU acceleration and AI-enabled tools while adhering to security

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance required at time of application.
• Experience developing software with C++, Java, Python, and CUDA.
• Experience developing software in Linux environments.
• Experience with RF signal processing and radar-related DSP.
• Experience with GPU optimization and high-throughput computing.
• Experience applying AI-enabled software engineering tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, document, test, debug, and optimize applications and systems implementing radar signal processing.
• Develop and optimize radar signal processing algorithms and pipelines.
• Apply toolchains including DSP System Toolbox, Signal Processing Toolbox, and Phased Array System tools.
• Develop high-performance signal processing implementations using C++, Python, Java, and CUDA on Linux.
• Leverage GPU acceleration to optimize workloads for real-time applications.
• Collaborate with hardware, systems, and algorithm engineering teams to integrate radar processing capabilities.
• Translate requirements into software architecture, processing requirements, and interfaces.
• Analyze system performance and identify issues related to processing, data acquisition, and controls.
• Develop documentation, design artifacts, tests, and engineering reports.
• Provide technical leadership for complex software and DSP tasks.
