Job summary

SoloPulse Corp in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a senior software engineer to build real-time processing systems at the core of our radar platform. This R&D role turns research algorithms into high-performance, deterministic software running on real hardware.

You will work in C++ and Python, touching DSP, CUDA, high-throughput sensor processing, and embedded computing, delivering low-latency, reliable software for drones, vehicles, and other platforms.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of demonstrated experience developing complex software systems.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and Python.
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing low-latency and deterministic real-time systems.
• Strong understanding of performance-critical C++, including memory behavior, concurrency, synchronization, data movement, and resource management.
• Experience translating algorithms or mathematical concepts into efficient software implementations.
• Experience developing software for systems with significant performance, latency, or throughput requirements.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance; U.S. person required.

Responsibilities

• Develop real-time software for radar, RF, and high-throughput sensor systems.
• Translate DSP algorithms into efficient C++ and CUDA implementations.
• Design low-latency data processing pipelines for high-rate sensor data.
• Work with DSP and research engineers to integrate algorithms into real-time systems.
• Architect software for multi-sensor, real-time processing systems.
• Profile and optimize C++/CUDA code for latency and throughput.
• Develop test harnesses, simulations, and data collection pipelines.
• Build software thatPredictably operates under limited CPU, GPU, memory, and power budgets.
• Rapidly build experimental systems to evaluate new concepts.
