Job summary

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant electronic product design, redesign, troubleshooting, or verification.
• A degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering field.
• Hands-on hardware diagnosis at circuit, board, and system levels.
• Ability to analyze schematics and datasheets, perform design calculations, and use test instruments.
• Methodical RCA approach with controlled experiments and test planning.
• Knowledge of analog and digital circuits, power supplies, and interfaces to embedded systems.
• Clear documentation and cross-team collaboration.
• Onsite work in Hoffman Estates, IL with field testing availability.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot radar hardware and integrated systems to isolate failures.
• Lead root cause investigations of production and field issues.
• Evaluate alternate components for obsolescence.
• Design and implement circuit and PCB changes for reliability.
• Operate radar systems in lab and field; analyze performance.
• Plan and conduct field tests with measurable success criteria.
• Improve yield, test coverage, and diagnostic methods.
• Maintain schematics, BOMs, change records, and test plans.
• Collaborate with software/ RF/mechanical engineers to implement fixes.
• Prioritize issues by impact and prevent recurrence.
