Job summary

Echodyne seeks a Software Engineer II - Manufacturing Test to design, develop, and maintain Python-based test infrastructure for radar systems in a production environment.

You will collaborate across software, radar, hardware, and manufacturing teams to implement reliable tests, manage data collection, and improve test tooling; strong Python and hardware interfacing skills are required.

Qualifications

• Production-quality software, automated test apps, or manufacturing test systems experience.
• Proficiency developing maintainable Python applications.
• Experience interfacing software with hardware or test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize high-assurance software test components using Python.
• Participate in design and code reviews for new and existing systems; provide feedback.
• Contribute to improvements in coding practices, testing, and dev tools.
• Support testing efforts and collaborate with partner teams as needed.
• Work with radar, software, hardware, and manufacturing test engineers to implement tests.
• Develop reliable, repeatable automated tests for manufacturing and system verification.
• Design software interfaces for test equipment, radar hardware, fixtures, and manufacturing systems.
• Implement test-result collection, traceability, logging, and diagnostics.
