Job summary

Echodyne, a leader in compact solid-state radar systems, seeks a Software Engineer II, Embedded to design radar subsystems with high-performance software. You will own software components, work with a cross-disciplinary team, and contribute to secure development practices in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include designing and optimizing embedded software in C++, debugging, testing, and collaborating across hardware and software teams to meet system requirements.

Qualifications

• Embedded Linux/C++ for real-time systems
• Debugging, testing, and hardware interfacing knowledge
• Python scripting for testing
• Git-based workflows and code reviews
• Unit and integration testing experience
• Strong communication across hardware and software teams
• SSDLC awareness and secure coding where applicable
• Mentoring juniors is a plus

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize high-assurance software components using C++.
• Participate in design and code reviews for new and existing systems.
• Contribute to improvements in coding practices, testing and development tools.
• Support testing efforts for your team; collaborate with partner teams.
• Work with radar, signal processing, and other software engineers to meet system needs.
