Job summary
Valeo is seeking a System Engineer Interference Mitigation for Product Line Detect at our Bietigheim location. You will design and optimize advanced interference mitigation techniques, conduct root-cause investigations, and benchmark performance to achieve best-in-class radar robustness for dense environments.
The role requires a Master’s degree or PhD in Signal Processing, Communications Engineering, or Physics, with deep expertise in FMCW/PMCW radar interference mechanisms and strong
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or PhD in Signal Processing, Communications Engineering, or Physics.
- Strong interference mechanism knowledge in FMCW/PMCW radar systems.
- Expertise in digital signal processing and statistical filtering.
Responsibilities
- Design, simulate, and implement interference mitigation techniques for robust detection.
- Lead root-cause analyses of warning flags causing performance degradation.
- Benchmark interference robustness vs competitors and define roadmaps for RFQs.
- Serve as Tier-3 expert for project support during vehicle testing and validation.
- Help standardize internal testing methods and contribute to IP portfolio.
- Define test scenarios and KPIs for Crowded Radar in HIL and vehicle testing.
