Job summary

Laser Photonics Corporation is seeking an AI Software Engineer to develop and deploy AI/ML software for defense, radar, robotics, and autonomous systems. You will take models from data and development through optimization, integration, testing, and deployment.

The role focuses on Python/C++ development, ML/DL pipelines, radar data applications, and edge/embedded deployment on platforms like NVIDIA Jetson and Raspberry Pi.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering or related field.
• Professional software/AI experience in ML or related systems.
• Strong Python and/or C++ programming skills.
• Hands-on ML/DL experience across pipelines.
• Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn.
• Experience developing/deploying AI/ML models.
• Understanding of data preprocessing, model training, evaluation, optimization.
• Experience in Linux environments.
• Experience with Git or similar version control.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy AI/ML software applications using Python and/or C++.
• Build ML solutions for radar, computer vision, sensor processing, autonomous systems, defense.
• Create ML pipelines from data prep to deployment and evaluation.
• Work with radar data: preprocessing, feature extraction, model development, deployment.
• Develop AI for counter-UAS / anti-drone applications.
• Optimize models for real-time and edge AI; integrate with sensors and embedded systems.
