Job summary

Keysight Technologies seeks an experienced Solution Engineer to join the AI Labs team. You will drive data generation for AI model training on real bench hardware, build ML models, and coordinate with ML Engineers and internal units.

Expertise in Digital Photonics and Aerospace/Defense test tech, with strong Python, ML, and T&M automation skills, is required. This role focuses on AI-driven instrumentation and customer interactions.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of relevant experience, including customer-facing technical roles.
• Hands-on expertise with T&M equipment and remote programming/test automation (Python, SCPI, PyVISA, IVI).
• Strong ML engineering skills: Python, PyTorch or TensorFlow, and signal processing for time‑series/RF/optical data.
• Export-controlled defense exposure requires U.S. Persons per ITAR.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation for instrument control and testing across scopes, BERTs, AWGs, and radar test setups.
• Lead data-generation campaigns and design measurement plans for AI model training.
• Develop, train, and validate ML models for measurement science problems (EVM/BER/jitter, radar/EW scenarios).
• Coordinate with business units and ML Engineers to enable high-quality data for model development.
• Serve as primary customer interface for AI Development Platform in photonics and A&D engagements.
