Job summary

LeoLabs is seeking a Radar Systems Engineer to support our growing team. You will contribute to radar signal processing, modeling, simulation, and tracking across the full lifecycle from concept through deployment.

Daily work focuses on Python-based analysis, developing tools for radar control, data acquisition, and visualization, with emphasis on end-to-end radar chains and AO/IF signals. US citizenship and 3+ years in radar are required.

Qualifications

• US citizenship with the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field; 3+ years radar/ signal processing experience.
• Strong Python for data analysis, algorithm development, and visualization.
• Knowledge of radar signal processing fundamentals (range, Doppler, filtering).
• Experience with phased arrays and RF fundamentals (AoA).

Responsibilities

• Develop, model, simulate, and validate radar algorithms.
• Prototype analysis workflows in Python and produce diagnostics/plots.
• Support deployment, calibration, and validation of radar systems.
