RAD TECHNOLOGIST WKND

Location: Westminster, MD 21157, United States

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for producing high-quality radiographs efficiently while demonstrating concern for patients of all ages. Utilizes knowledge of growth and development principles appropriate to the patient's age to ensure care meets their physical and psychosocial needs. Understands the functionality of multiple imaging modalities including DR, CR, fluoroscopy, C-arms, and portable radiographic units. Provides patient care utilizing Cerner and Picture Archiving Communications System (PACS). Demonstrates troubleshooting skills and problem-solving abilities. Must reliably cover weekend shifts as scheduled, in accordance with HR policy.

REQUIREMENTS

• Preferred Associate's Degree
• Preferred High School Diploma; graduate of AMA-JCH approved program in Radiological Technology
• 2-4 years of experience preferred; will consider new graduates
• ARRT - Registered Radiologic Technologist
• CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider
• RT - Radiology Technologist certification

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

Must be reliable to cover designated weekend shifts as outlined in HR policy. Ability to use problem-solving skills and work independently in the absence of supervision. Flexibility to handle the department's changing demands.
