Wesley Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Rad Technologist Diagnostic to join our Imaging team. You will operate x-ray equipment, perform radiographs, and assist Radiologists to provide accurate diagnostic results for patients in the ED, hospital, and outpatient settings.

Requirements include ARRT certification, Kansas licensure, and BLS, with a preference for 1 year of imaging department experience. Join a respected team at Wesley in Wichita, KS to help deliver exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification required.
• Current Kansas State Board of Healing Arts radiologic technologist license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) verification required.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Prefer one year of imaging department experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate x-ray equipment to take radiographs of designated body parts.
• Under Radiologist supervision, perform x-ray procedures and assist as needed.
• Serve patients in ED, hospital, and outpatient settings.
• Perform procedures per established protocols across all ages (neonate to geriatric).
• Maintain expert technical and patient-care skills to deliver quality diagnostic results.

Our Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging Department provides a broad range of services to aid in the screening, diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions and emergent injuries. A few responsibilities of our Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) include:

• You will operate x-ray equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of the body.

• Under the supervision of a Radiologist, your role performs x-ray therapy on patients, assesses patients throughout and responds to the patient’s needs as appropriate.

• Your role will serve patients in our emergency department, patients in our hospital, and outpatient patients in need of services.

• You will perform procedures in accordance with established protocols for patients ages neonate through geriatric.

• Your role will be responsible for maintaining expert technical and patient-care skills and providing quality diagnostic results.

Required Job Qualifications include:

• Current registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or ARMRIT

• Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist by the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) verification course, as specified in policy

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology

• Prefer one year of experience in an Imaging Department
