A regional healthcare provider in Wichita is seeking a Rad Technologist Diagnostic to operate x-ray equipment and perform imaging procedures. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• You will operate x‑ray equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of the body.
• Under the supervision of a Radiologist, your role performs x‑ray therapy on patients, assesses patients throughout and responds to the patient’s needs as appropriate.
• Your role will serve patients in our emergency department, patients in our hospital, and outpatient patients in need of services.
• You will perform procedures in accordance with established protocols for patients ages neonate through geriatric.
• Your role will be responsible for maintaining expert technical and patient‑care skills and providing quality diagnostic results.

Required Job Qualifications

• Current registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist by the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) verification course, as specified in policy.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Prefer one year of experience in an Imaging Department.
