Job summary

Rochester General Hospital in Rochester, NY is seeking a Radiology Technologist for per diem at the Linden Oaks Imaging Center. You will perform radiographic procedures, ensuring diagnostic-quality images while maximizing patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities include radiography across assigned areas, timely service during unsupervised shifts, documentation in RIS/PACS, room preparation, meetings, and on-call coverage for the Diagnostic Radiology section.

Qualifications

• NYS license in Radiologic Technology required or must obtain licensure within six months of hire.
• If licensed after 2007 must obtain ARRT Certification within 1 year of hire.
• New Graduates: official transcript or registrar's letter confirming program completion accepted upon graduation.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for radiography of patients in all assigned areas.
• Maintains accountability for timely and proper service during unsupervised shifts.
• Maintains accountability for proper documentation of exams and related procedures utilizing RIS/PACS and in patient charts as necessary.
• Cleans, restocks and prepares rooms daily.
• Attends hospital and departmental meetings and in-services.
• Provides on-call coverage for the Diagnostic Section of Radiology.
