Medical City Dallas is seeking a Radiology Tech for a seasonal full-time assignment. You will perform high-quality diagnostic images under radiologist supervision, ensuring patient safety and adherence to radiology standards.

The role involves weekend shifts and holiday coverage within a rotating schedule. The position requires state registration (AART/MRT TX) and ARRT radiographer certification, plus an associate degree or military RT training.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required for clinical practice.
• State-registered Radiologic Technician (AART/MRT) credential in TX.
• ARRT-registered Radiographer credential.
• Associate degree or military RT training per ARRT.

Responsibilities

• Performs superior diagnostic images under Radiologist guidance on all ages.
• Maintains a safe diagnostic radiologic environment based on standards and radiation safety guidelines.
• Participates in departmental Performance Improvement activities.

Job Summary And Qualifications

• Performs superior/quality diagnostic images under the guidance of a Radiologist on all ages
• Maintains a safe and therapeutic diagnostic radiological environment based on practice standards, radiation safety guidelines that include monitoring.
• Participates in departmental Performance Improvement activities
• PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
• All seasonal RNs are required to work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period during the seasonal period.
• Within a close geography, you may be asked to float to another facility that has an emergent staffing need.
• Four (4) weekend shifts are required each 4 week schedule period.
• During the course of the 32-week period, the employee is required to work two (2) holiday shifts (defined by Department Manager or designee).
• Seasonal Staff are PRN status employees and are subject to first call‑off. There are no guaranteed hours by the hospital.
• Seasonal Staff will not be eligible for extra shift bonuses (D1/CND or D2/ECD)
• Registered Nurses who are in the Seasonal program will have one opportunity to pass the clinical competency evaluation.
• Current FT/PT & PRN employees are not eligible to join the Seasonal program for 2026–27 with the exception of RNs that participated in the Seasonal program in the previous year.
• Current employees of HWS are not eligible for the seasonal program.
• Shifts may vary based on the needs of the department.
