Medical City Lewisville is seeking a Radiology Tech PRN to perform diagnostic X-ray procedures with precision and efficiency. You will operate X-ray equipment, prepare necessary supplies, and ensure radiation safety for patients and staff.

The role supports a diverse patient population, from infants to elders, and requires ARRT-R Radiography credentials or active eligibility, plus a bachelor's or associate degree. This PRN position offers flexible scheduling within a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of start date.
• ARRT-R Radiography credential required.
• Certification as RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer preferred.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree required.

Responsabilités

• Perform quality diagnostic X-ray procedures accurately and timely.
• Operate X-ray equipment and process images for the specified exam.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Associate performs quality diagnostic procedures in an accurate and timely fashion. He/she operates X-ray equipment and processes image as required. Associate prepares equipment, supplies and medication as indicated for the procedure/exam being performed. He/she practices proper radiation safety techniques on all exams and ensures his/her direct reports and other staff members follow the same precautions. Associate maintains safe environment for patients, co-workers and visitors. Supports and helps achieve the departmental and hospital goals. Provides services to all age groups (infant to geriatric).

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (ARRT-R) Radiography
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
• Bachelors Degree, or Associate Degree
