Job summary

Solvet is seeking up to two certified Radiologic Technologists to provide diagnostic imaging services under a federal healthcare contract at a secure facility in Bruceton Mills, WV.

The role requires operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, documenting images in EMR, and supporting clinical staff under a 1-year assignment (Oct 1, 2026 – Sept 30, 2027). ARRT certification and active licensure are required, CPR certification is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Completion of a 2-year radiology program accredited by JRCERT or DOE-recognized equivalent.
• Current ARRT (R) certification.
• Active, unrestricted license or registration in any U.S. jurisdiction.
• Current CPR certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine radiologic studies on inmate patients per clinician orders.
• Ensure proper positioning and safe radiation practices.
• Operate standard radiographic equipment (GE Medical, Kodak).
• Process and document images into patient records and EMR.
• Maintain and clean equipment; report technical issues.
• Adhere to infection control and radiology compliance standards.
• Maintain inventory and assist with audits and record reviews.
• Serve as a technical resource for clinical staff as needed.

Education

2-year radiology program accredited by JRCERT or DOE-recognized equivalent

No weekends or holidays
Up to 40 hours/week | 1-year contract: Oct 1, 2026 – Sept 30, 2027

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine radiologic studies on inmate patients under clinician orders
• Ensure proper positioning and safe radiation practices
