Job summary

Trinity Health in Iowa is seeking a part-time Radiology Technician for evening shifts. You will perform radiology tests, manage electronic medical records, and provide patient-focused care in a clinic setting.

The role requires an Iowa radiology permit, AMA-approved two-year radiologic technology training, and AART certification, with BLS within three months of hire. Clinic experience is preferred, with diverse patient ages served.

Qualifications

• Must maintain State of Iowa permit to practice Radiology.
• Knowledge of Radiologic theory and techniques, clinic policies and procedures and principles of anatomy.
• Two year AMA approved radiologic technology training program; AART certification preferred.
• Clinic/Physician office experience preferred.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider certified or obtained within three months of hire.
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training completion within three months of hire.

We are hiring a Rad Tech! As a Rad Tech, you will:

• Demonstrate the ability to recognize and assess urgent/emergency needs of patients and initiating appropriate emergency procedures as needed

• Follow clinic procedure/protocol for the organization and management of the electronic medical record (i.e. test results, retrieval, filing, creation, repair, charging of electronic medical record)

• Apply specialized radiology skills under the direction of a clinic provider in the care and treatment of patients in a clinic setting

• Perform a variety of routine and skilled radiology tests, diagnostic tests, or procedures to patients of all ages.

Requirements

• Must maintain State of Iowa permit to practice Radiology.

• Knowledge of Radiolgraphic theory and techniques, clinic policies and procedures and principles of anatomy.

• Work requires extensive technical or specialized training such as would be acquired in a college or technical school (i.e. completion of AMA approved two year training program in radiologic technology and AART certified).

• Clinic/Physician office experience preferred.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider certified or obtained within three (3) months of hire.

• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population serve within three (3) months of hire
