Job summary

MercyOne is hiring a Radiology Tech to perform general diagnostic imaging exams, CTs, and mammography. You will support departmental efficiency and patient care continuity, while delivering age-appropriate care from teens to geriatrics.

The role requires AMA Radiologic Technology program completion, Iowa permit to practice, and continuing education compliance, with ARRT credentials preferred and a requirement to obtain them if needed.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an AMA Radiologic Technology program.
• Iowa permit to practice.
• ARRT credentials preferred; willing to obtain within required time frame.
• Maintain Continuing Education requirements.
• Must provide BLS Healthcare Provider card.
• Completes Mandatory Reporting within 6 months of hire and renews every 3 years.

Join the MercyOne family! We are looking to hire a Radiology Tech!

As a Radiology Tech at MercyOne, you will:

• Be responsible for performing general diagnostic imaging exams, CT's, as well as mammography and other designated procedures
• Contribute to the efficient operation of the department, ensuring the quality and continuity of patient care
• Provide care appropriate to the age and development of patients of most ages - teenagers through geriatric

Schedule

36 hours a week

Monday - Friday

Night and weekend call rotation (every 4th weekend)

Requirements

• Graduation of an AMA Radiologic Technology program
• Iowa permit to practiceMaintains certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• ARRT Credentials preferred
• Willing to obtain credentials within a designated time frame as determined by department need
• Remains current with Continuing Education requirements for designated national certifications
• Must provide proof of Basic Life Support (BLS Healthcare Provider, American Heart Association; or American Red Cross, Professional Rescuer-LIVE class only) via current card prior to employment or within 60 days of hire and maintains current status
• Completes Mandatory Reporting: Child and Dependent Adult Abuse requirement within 6 months of hire and renews this requirement every 3 years
