Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging across all ages at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Stockton, CA.

You will operate radiologic equipment, ensure patient comfort and safety, and communicate effectively with patients and care teams. The role emphasizes adherence to mission and core values, participation in performance improvement, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• Graduate of a Radiology program.
• CA Medical Radiographer license and Basic Life Support required.
• Less than 2 years Radiologic Technology experience is preferred at hire.

Responsibilities

• Assures that the rights of the patient/family are respected and maintained.
• Maintains privacy and modesty in care.
• Identifies self by name and title to patient/family.
• Reports suspected abuse/neglect when identified.
• Understands access to Bioethics Committee.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will help our patients and their families receive high-quality diagnostic imaging services across all developmental stages so they can achieve accurate diagnoses and better health outcomes.

Every day you will perform a variety of fixed and portable radiographs, ensuring patient comfort, safety, and understanding throughout the process. You will be expected to uphold the organization's mission and core values, actively participate in performance improvement initiatives, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

To be successful in this role, you must possess strong technical skills in operating radiologic equipment, a comprehensive understanding of patient care needs from infancy to geriatrics, and excellent communication abilities to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

• Assures that the rights of the patient/family are respected and maintained.
• Allows for privacy and modesty in the provision of care.
• Identifies self by name and title to patient/family.
• Determines presence/type of Advanced Directive.
• Reports suspected cases of abuse/neglect, if identified.
• Understands role of, and how to access, the Bioethics Committee.

$10,000 Sign-On Bonus offered for new hires. Per policy, current employees are not eligible for the Sign-On Bonus. However, we are offering a Referral Bonus for this role.
