Piedmont Cartersville seeks a Radiologic Technologist to operate radiologic equipment and provide high-quality diagnostic imaging for patients of all ages. You will participate in standard procedures, adhere to safety protocols, and contribute to patient education and care.

The role requires graduation from an AMA/JRCERT accredited program, ARRT and BCLS upon hire, and offers opportunities to grow within a collaborative, award-winning care environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• No prior experience required.
• ARRT registration required upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) required upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Operates radiologic equipment to make diagnostic radiographs.
• Provides patient services using imaging modalities.
• Provides patient care to all age groups including neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric.
• Positions patient, selects protocol, and uses all required equipment.
• Adheres to Radiation Safety Policies and dose reduction principles.
• Provides patient education and communications.

Responsibilities

Operates radiologic equipment to make clinical diagnostic radiographs and performs routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices. Provide patient services using imaging modalities. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

• Demonstrates competence and proficiency in performing all radiological procedures on patients of all age groups. Positions patient, selects the correct protocol, and utilizes all required equipment.
• Maintains competencies for all related components.
• Accurately follows all established imaging protocols for exam being performed.
• Provides quality age specific care in accordance with prescribed standards and practices.
• Adhere to the Radiation Safety Policies and the principles of a viable dose reduction program.
• Provides patient education and communications in accordance with prescribed standards.
