Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to operate radiologic equipment and perform diagnostic procedures according to established standards. You will provide compassionate patient care across all age groups, including neonatal and geriatric patients, while maintaining safety and quality.

The role involves advanced imaging such as fluoroscopy and lumbar punctures, requiring technical proficiency and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• 2 years experience in radiologic imaging required.
• ARRT and BCLS certifications required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiologic equipment to perform diagnostic radiographs following established standards.
• Provides patient care across all ages including neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients.
• Performs advanced imaging (fluoroscopy and lumbar punctures) as needed.
• Delivers technical care to meet identified patient needs.

Responsibilities

Operates radiologic equipment to make clinical diagnostic radiographs and performs routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices. Provide patient services using imaging modalities. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Demonstrates ability to perform advance diagnostic imaging (Fluoroscopy and Lumbar punctures). Provides more complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs.
