Job summary

Southcoast Health is seeking a talented Rad CT Technologist at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA. This role covers radiography and computed tomography, patient assessment, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary care team. You will ensure ALARA, obtain exam requests, document in the EHR, and educate patients.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT CT certification within one year of eligibility.
• Current MA and/or RI radiologic licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Vaccination against influenza and COVID-19 or valid exemption.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiography and CT exams within an interdisciplinary care team.
• Assess patients, document data in the EHR, and educate patients for exams.
• Position patients and prepare imaging equipment and supplies; select factors/sequences for quality images.
• Apply ALARA to minimize radiation exposure and assist physicians during procedures.
