Job summary

Southcoast Health is seeking a CT Technologist for Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA. The role involves performing CT imaging, preparing patients, and ensuring quality images while adhering to ALARA principles. The incumbent will document patient data in the EHR and assist physicians during procedures.

Required credentials include ARRT/NMTCB CT certification and MA/RI licensure, plus BLS. The position offers a 32–40 hour flex schedule with evening shifts and weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology, or Radiation Therapy program with primary certification within one year of eligibility.
• Post-primary CT certification required within one year of eligibility and/or per RT licensure in MA/RI.
• Current RT licensure in MA and/or RI based on location.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• ARRT or NMTCB registration required.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or have exemption signed.

Responsibilities

• Provide diversified clinical patient care under supervision within Radiology.
• Perform patient assessments and document data in the EHR.
• Position patients and select imaging equipment and supplies for CT procedures.
• Monitor and apply ALARA principles to minimize exposure.
• Assist physicians during procedures.
