Job summary

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology required.
• Post-primary certification in CT is necessary for RTs within one year of eligibility.
• Current RT licensure in Massachusetts and/or Rhode Island required.
• Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Registration with the ARRT is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform diversified clinical patient care and technical duties in radiography.
• Obtain pertinent information from patient's chart and document data.
• Educate patients about the exam procedures.
• Select technical parameters to produce quality images.
• Assist physicians in performing procedures.
