Job summary

Aronimink Golf Club is seeking a part-time Racquets Attendant to open and close the Racquets facility and work closely with the Office Manager and Director of Racquet Sports to maintain a clean, safe environment.

You will answer phones, greet members, assist with pro shop sales, and ensure a warm, welcoming experience for guests. Weeknights begin at 4pm; weekends begin at 2pm; uniforms and staff meals are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Possess good communication and guest relation skills
• Available to work weekends, evening shifts, and major holidays
• Mandatory compliance with all safety regulations, procedures, policies, and rules
• Regular and predictable attendance
• Arrives punctually in full uniform with a neat & professional appearance at all times
• Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, carrying, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance and more than 50 pounds with assistance
• Must be able to multi-task several different actions at once
• Able to drive a golf cart, license preferred
• Experience with a full-service country club operation preferred

Responsibilities

• The opening and closing of the Racquets facility and Tennis Center, outdoor and indoor facilities
• Restocking materials such as bottled water, drinks, balls, towels, and supplies
• Brushing and cleaning outdoor courts in summer and paddle/indoor courts in winter
• Clearing trash around the facility and transporting to trash disposal
• Moving dirty linens and towels to the main clubhouse
• Transporting food/beverages to the tennis center for events
• Cleaning and organizing all areas of the tennis center including kitchen and pro shop
• Ensuring alarms, lights, fireplaces, and doors are secured on departure
• Delivering high level member and guest service as a standard
• Interacting with members and coordinating with the Office Manager and Director of Racquet Sports
