Job summary

The National at Ave Maria Golf & Country Club in Ave Maria, FL seeks a Pro Shop Associate to support daily operations and create a welcoming experience for members and guests. You will assist with check-ins, Retail POS sales, and inventory, while keeping the pro shop organized and inviting.

Ideal candidates bring retail or service experience, strong communication, and comfort with computer systems. Availability for Tue/Wed/Thu 2–7pm is required, with potential schedule changes over time to meet

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to learn the POS system.
• Reliable, organized, and comfortable multitasking.
• Tennis and/or pickleball knowledge preferred.
• Must be available to start November 1, 2026.
• Current schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 2-7 p.m.
• Hours may change over time; flexible availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide front desk coverage and assist with member and guest check-in.
• Operate the POS system for retail sales and program transactions.
• Assist with inventory ordering, stocking, and merchandising.
• Maintain a clean, organized pro shop.
• Complete opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Answer questions about court reservations, programs, and events.
• Assist with racquet sports programs, events, and tournaments as needed.
