Job summary

Vineyards Country Club in Naples, FL is seeking a part-time Pro Shop Merchandiser to enhance member experience and maintain the Pro Shop’s presentation. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years retail experience, preferably in pro merchandise, with knowledge of court sports apparel.

You will support merchandising, displays, inventory, and promotions, working with the Buyer/Merchandise Manager. Weekend availability and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience in a retail setting with a focus on pro merchandise preferred.
• Knowledge of court sports apparel, and accessories.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in point-of-sale systems and computer skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work well under pressure and think creatively.
• Ability to work at least one weekend day.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Buyer/Merchandise Manager in maintaining all aspects of the Pro Shop retail merchandise operations.
• Establish a rapport with the Membership by providing excellent customer service, assisting with all their retail needs.
• Maintain the stockroom’s organization and efficiency.
• Ensure the shop is consistently neat and clean.
• Assist in creating visually appealing and organized displays.
• Assist in receiving, pricing and managing inventory levels through our inventory management system.
• Utilize the POS system for completing transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and place orders as needed to ensure product availability.
• Assist in Monthly Inventory Counts.
• Place, monitor and follow through on special orders.
• Assist in retail promotion using our website, member e-mail and social media.
