Job summary

The Country Club in Massachusetts seeks an energetic Assistant Racquet Sports Professional to support all racquet programs, coach, organize events, and ensure smooth daily operations under the Director of Racquets. This seasonal, non-exempt role emphasizes exceptional member service and on‑court instruction.

Responsibilities include private and group lessons for juniors and adults, event support, and shop sales, with evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ professional teaching experience.
• Playing level of 5.0 or higher is required.
• PPTR or USTA certification preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Reliable, professional, and punctual.
• Strong communication skills and ability to connect with children and parents.
• Willing to work nights and weekends.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite for scheduling and reporting.
• Experience with Members First and Jonas preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and improving the racquets program.
• Collaborate on scheduling and programming such as adult events.
• Provide private and group lessons to juniors, ladies and men.
• Assist with Racquet Shop sales and communicate status to Director.
• Teach using 10 and under guidelines for juniors 4-10.
• Handle emails, bookings, court reservations, and light maintenance.
• Ensure upkeep of racquet facilities.
• Other duties as assigned.
