Job summary
The Falmouth Country Club in Falmouth, ME is seeking a full-time Assistant Rackets Professional to support year-round racket sports programming and operations. This role involves assisting the Racket Sports Director, running clinics, stringing rackets, and maintaining courts and a dedicated racket shop.
The position offers compensation with rackets- stringing and teaching commissions, plus training and mentorship in racket sports management.
Qualifications
- Experience instructing Tennis (juniors)
- Willing to learn racket stringing under supervision
- Understanding of tennis and pickleball rules and scoring
- Must be detail oriented and maintain facilities
Responsibilities
- Assist director of racket sports with daily operations
- String tennis rackets as needed
- Assist Lead professionals during clinics or lessons
- Open/close racket sports facilities and shop
- Maintain courts and facilities under direction
- Set up pickleball courts and tennis courts daily
- Oversee and operate the racket sports shop
- Operate the Point of Sale system
- Sell equipment and assist members
- Support social events and tournaments
- Perform additional departmental duties as required
