Job summary

Sabre Industries seeks a motivated team member to support galvanizing operations in our metal finishing facility. You will receive material, prepare it for galvanizing, and assist with moving steel using forklifts and overhead cranes.

Requires basic English, ability to read and follow safety guidelines, and prior experience with hand tools; willingness to work long shifts including weekends and in varying temperatures. We offer competitive benefits and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to understand basic verbal English.
• Experience with hand tools such as grinders is preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts and cranes is preferred.
• Regular and timely attendance is required.

Responsibilities

• Receive material and prepare it to be galvanized.
• Hang steel products up to 75 lbs. on hooks or chains and place on overhead crane.
• Remove stencils and grease from steel prior to pre-treat area.
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes in the racking area.
• Inspect lifting equipment and report issues to Lead.
• Count or weigh products to verify against bills of lading.
• Move materials to storage or production areas by hand or with equipment.
• Attach identifying tags to products.
• Maintain clean and organized work area.
• Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management.
