Smart Care Solutions is seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to install, maintain and repair rack refrigeration systems for commercial and industrial clients across the United States. You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, work with multiple refrigerants, and perform preventive maintenance to ensure peak performance.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in rack systems, EPA certification, and a trade-school/apprenticeship background.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working with rack refrigeration systems (commercial/industrial).
• Strong understanding of refrigeration principles and rack system troubleshooting.
• Apprenticeship or trade school background; EPA Certification required for refrigerants.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair rack refrigeration systems and components.
• Diagnose mechanical/electrical issues and troubleshoot effectively.
• Perform preventive maintenance for optimal performance and longevity.
• Work with various refrigerants (R-22, R-404A, R-448A, CO2)
• Respond to service calls with timely repairs and minimal downtime.
• Test system functions and verify safe operation of components.
• Adhere to safety protocols and compliance requirements.
• Provide customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
• Maintain accurate service records and logs.
• Mentor junior technicians and assist on-call with emergencies.
• Occasionally work nights/weekends as required.
