Job summary

Walmart is hiring a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support and repair refrigeration and HVAC systems in our stores. You will apply commercial HVAC/R skills using hand tools, digital tools and power tools to complete jobs efficiently and safely.

Requirements include experience with large-scale rack refrigeration, EPA certification, a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR, and a HS diploma or equivalent. This is a fast-paced, team-oriented role at our local Walmart stores.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience.
• EPA Type I/Type II or Universal Refrigerant Certification.
• Valid state driver's license with clean MVR.
• 18 years or older with HS diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets.
• Use work orders to receive and document repairs for Stores.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect and test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete required training for safe operation of tools.
• Comply with OSHA and EPA guidelines per Walmart policy.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights.
